A little more about me…

My name is Pc Benadé. I’m a father to our 20-month-old Lucah and husband to Eliska for almost 10 years. As a family, we love spending time at home watching our little Lucah grow or walking along the Sea Point promenade on a Sunday morning, or going camping in the Cederberg.

When I’m not behind the camera I keep an eye on a coffee shop we opened a little more than 2 years ago, or I’m helping people sell their properties or you can find me on the golf course where I try to play what might be the most frustrating but rewarding game there is.

My journey in photography started after leaving a band I managed for a few years, selling my guitar and amplifier and buying a camera from a dodgy guy in a parking lot more than 10 years ago…

Fast forward 10+ years and too many beautiful weddings to count and then COVID happened. Everything came to a standstill. In order to provide for my family I opened Bara Coffee in Durbanville during lockdown.

I’ve found that my love for photography, people, and stories has only grown stronger and I would love to capture you and the ones you love because I’ve come to realize more and more how crucial moments are spent with loved ones since our Lucah came along.
